Famous Mont-Blanc Angelina Dessert Now Offered at Brasserie Rosalie in Disneyland Paris (Photos, Review)
Hi everyone!
Since our (many) visits to Brasserie Rosalie at Disneyland Paris last month, one major change has occurred – the famous Mont-Blanc Angelina has been added to the menu! Groupe Bertrande, the same company that runs the fantastic Brasserie Rosalie within Disney Village, also runs the iconic Angelina teahouse in Paris. Angelina is famous for its hot chocolate (which we were told is what we ordered at Brasserie Rosalie) and also for this highly desired dessert. The Mont-Blanc Angelina was created in 1903!
I noticed the Mont-Blanc Angelina on the Brasserie Rosalie online menu this week, and our friend @FiBelleFi (Twitter/Instagram) went to dinner tonight and decided to order it. I wish it was there when we were at Disneyland Paris last month, and hopefully the Mont-Blanc sticks around.
Here are photos and her impressions of the Mont-Blanc Angelina. Brasserie Rosalie keeps the lighting pretty low at night, just FYI.
First, Angelina says about this dessert:
Could there be a pastry that captures Angelina’s passion and know-how better than the Mont-Blanc? We doubt it. As our signature creation, it offers a unique combination of crackling meringue, airy-light whipped cream and chestnut paste vermicelli that has led a lasting impression on everyone who has ever tried it since 1903.
There is what appears to be a lovely chocolate “A” on top.
@FiBelleFi says about the Mont-Blanc Angelina:
The dessert looks so creamy. Jeff and I almost went to Angelina during our January visit but ended up not getting into the city this time. I especially wanted to try this dessert, which is now at Disneyland Paris! The cost for the Mont-Blanc Angelina is currently 13 €.
The cup it arrives in says “Angelina Paris depuis 1903” (Angelina Paris since 1903).
The menu at Brasserie Rosalie has been evolving a bit in items and prices, and I don’t know if the Mont-Blanc Angelina is meant to be a regular item for the time being, or seasonal, or temporary. Brasserie Rosalie just opened in December. Check the Brasserie Rosalie menu online for the latest offerings and prices. A table can be booked online as well.
We dined 6 times at Brasserie Rosalie in January, not including a few stops at the outdoor counter for sandwiches, snacks and mulled wine. It is a more elevated dining experience IMHO than any restaurant at Disneyland Paris. The food is delicious! I was very impressed that the restaurant offered Angelina hot chocolate and tea, and is now offering the Mont-Blanc Angelina. This makes the restaurant even more a destination on its own.
There are also many other wonderful desserts at Brasserie Rosalie. Check out our articles with reviews from last month – we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner (including lobster!)
Brasserie Rosalie is located near the PanoraMagique balloon and across from Earl of Sandwich at Disney Village.
Thank you again to @FiBelleFi for sending the photos and a review of the Mont-Blanc Angelina.
