Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Construction Update From February 24th, 2024
Hi everyone!
We were at the Magic Kingdom yesterday and have photos and video to share of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is scheduled to open in Summer 2024 (replacing the former Splash Mountain attraction). We took a ride on the Walt Disney World Railroad as well to take a look at the queue. We had not been to the Magic Kingdom in over 7 weeks prior since we had been traveling.
First, here is our video of the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure construction.
Our photos are next.
Disney says about the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Join Princess Tiana and jazz-loving alligator Louis on their journey through a shimmering bayou as they prepare for a spirited celebration during Mardi Gras season. Along the way, you’ll see familiar faces and make new friends as you’re brought into the next chapter of Tiana’s inspiring story.
We first shared a look at this poster when Disney released the Summer 2024 opening date.
Guests can take photos in front of the poster.
Nearby, it says that Louis is on his way to the party and guests can join the parade by posing in front of the umbrella or an instrument for a photo. We did see guests pretending to play the saxaphone in front of it.
Another poster says to book your bands for Mardi Gras season.
The greenery has really filled in around the area.
Decorative elements can be seen at the top of the lift hill.
There was quite a bit of work happening yesterday.
We could hear power tools continuously from this location.
And here is a look down at the building and queue. The mural is in sight as well.
We will post more information about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as we have it! No date has been given for the opening.
