(Photos) Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Cast Member Wreath Decorating Contest 2023

Merry Christmas!

We stopped at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside yesterday and found a lovely Cast Member Wreath Decorating Contest display that was in the lobby. Guests could vote for their favorite wreath created by Cast Members at the resort.

Here are photos from yesterday!

The first wreath is decorated by the Front Desk Cast Members and features a variety of Walt Disney World theme park tickets.

The tickets make for a colorful design, with characters that include Mickey, Goofy, Pluto and Donald.

Next is a “The Nightmare Before Christmas” wreath from Merchandise Cast Members that features a plush Santa Jack and plush Zero. Artwork of Jack and Sally is in the center.

There are also ornaments around the wreath.

One of the ornaments is Lock, Shock and Barrel.

Next is an “Alice in Wonderland” Queen of Hearts themed wreath from Training Cast Members. A crown is at the top.

Various cards and a cup are part of the design.

A Mickey and Minnie Mouse themed wreath from the Duty Team is next.

Mickey and Minnie plush figures are in the center.

A Mickey ornament is above them.

A “Ratatouille” themed wreath is from Housekeeping/Custodial Cast Members.

A Remy ornament, a Linguini and Eiffel Tower, along with carrots and cheese and more are part of the design.

A frying pan with the book “Anyone Can Cook” is at the top.

My personal favorite is the Mickey’s PhilharMagic wreath from the Food & Beverage team.

Donald’s backside is here, as is the Sorcerer Mickey hat. Ribbon features musical notes.

The last wreath is also themed to “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, from Recreation Cast Members. Oogie Boogie is at the top, and there are ornaments including Jack Skellington.

Some of the ornaments are also pumpkins.

I love seeing the talent of Cast Members on display around the resorts! I will post photos of the wreath display from Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter later today.
