Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris to Close for Refurbishment in Late January 2024

Hi everyone!

Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris is scheduled to close for refurbishment on January 29th, 2024 (during our next visit), with an expected reopening date of March 16th, 2024. I feel like Big Thunder Mountain is closed at least part of each of our trips, no matter when we visit.

March is actually a busy time for refurbishments this year, with Phantom Manor scheduled to be closed from March 11th-22nd (scheduled to reopen the 23rd) and Crush’s Coaster in Walt Disney Studios Park scheduled for closure from March 11th – 22nd (also reopening the 23rd). Casey Jr. Circus Train and Le Pays des Contes de Fées (The Storybook Land Canal Boats which will receive new “Frozen” and “Winnie the Pooh” scenes) are both scheduled to start refurbishment on March 11th with no end date announced.

March is a big time for refurbishment at Disneyland Paris in 2024, especially the mid-March time frame.

Will you be visiting Disneyland Paris in early 2024?

Jeff and I are scheduled to be in Disneyland Paris next month, including a stay at the Disneyland Hotel when it reopens on January 25th. That is something I am really looking forward to! We expect to have quite a few videos and articles about our experience starting at that time.
