“Directing at Disney: The Original Directors of Walt’s Animated Films” book is scheduled to arrive on September 17th, 2024 and is available for preorder. There is no description for the book yet from Disney Publishing on Amazon or elsewhere that I can find. The book is from Don Peri (who has interviewed various artists and more at Disney) and Pete Docter, who is Chief Creative Officer at Pixar Animation Studios. The foreword is by George Lucas.
“Directing at Disney” is shown as having 365 pages and with Walt Disney on the cover (I don’t know if that would be the final cover but it doesn’t say otherwise).
