Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort Will Start on August 23rd, 2024 (Earlier than Ever!)

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will start earlier than ever next year, kicking off on August 23rd, 2024! The event will run through Halloween day, October 31st. In addition, Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park will begin on the same day (August 23rd) and end November 2nd, 2024.

We always enjoy visiting the Disneyland Resort during Halloween Time, especially for Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure, which is a favorite Halloween event for us. No dates have been given yet for Oogie Boogie Bash, but I always recommend visiting two nights of the party if you can!

From Aug. 23-Oct. 31, 2024, Halloween Time will bring frightfully fun experiences to guests with Halloween magic throughout the Disneyland Resort. Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort (Aug. 23-Oct. 31): Wicked fun for all ages, this spellbinding season transforms the resort with autumn décor, characters dressed in hauntingly haute Halloween outfits and uniquely themed attractions.

From Aug. 23-Nov. 2, 2024, Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park celebrates the spirit of Día de los Muertos, plus décor and entertainment inspired by Disney and Pixar’s “Coco.” Among the activities to enjoy are “A Musical Celebration of Coco,” an entertaining street show honoring the beloved film and the everlasting bonds of family.
