EPCOT Construction Update, Including New Signage in World Celebration

Hi everyone!

We took photos from the monorail today of the EPCOT World Celebration construction, including signage that was recently added. The area is supposed to be open this year, although I don’t know if that means CommuniCore Hall as well.

Here are photos from today!

The small building that was yellow previously can now be seen in white. The multitude of trees that were planted are also filling in around the site.

CommuniCore Hall will be a “flexible exhibition and gallery space, offering a wide variety of experiences that highlight art, live music, food – complete with a demonstration kitchen – and more.” Also there will be a Mickey & Friends meet and greet location.

The fence and walkway in this location looks ready for guests soon.

The central planter is based on the five-ring EPCOT logo. Dreamer’s Point with the Walt the Dreamer Statue will be in the background. The box with what is probably the Walt statue is still back there and has been for a while.

Signage has been added near that planter.

The sign includes the Creations Shop, Connections Cafe Eatery, World Discovery, World Nature and the Park Exit. There are also spaces for other locations.

This looks like a beautiful park-like area.

And here are more photos while heading around on the monorail.

CommuniCore Plaza “will have the flexibility to host intimate musical performances that extend out into the nearby gardens, as well as large-scale concerts”.

There is a lot of work going on in this location.

CommuniCore Hall still looks like it has a bit more to go.

And one photo from the ground, looking from World Showcase.

I am looking forward to walking through this new area soon! We also look forward to the new nighttime spectacular “Luminous The Symphony of Us”, starting December 5th, 2023.
