The Cake Bake Shop Construction Update from October 19th, 2023 at the Walt Disney World BoardWalk

Hi everyone!

The Cake Bake Shop Bakery by Gwendolyn Rogers is scheduled to open in early 2024 at the Walt Disney World BoardWalk (the opening was originally planned for 2023), and we have construction photos to share from yesterday.

The last times we stopped by, it didn’t look like a lot of work had been done. But that has changed, and work was going on yesterday afternoon as the former ESPN Club becomes The Cake Bake Shop.

Disney says about The Cake Bake Shop table service restaurant, Come enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, desserts and cocktails in an exquisite atmosphere filled with magic and wonder while you take in views of Crescent Lake.

It is nice to see progress on The Cake Bake Shop, which is sure to be a popular restaurant when it opens in 2024.
