(Photos, Video): “Dream…and Shine Brighter!” Plays Final Shows at Disneyland Paris
Hi everyone!
“Dream…and Shine Brighter!”, the tremendously popular high-energy cavalcade and show that was a large part of the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris has now ended its run. It was an emotional day for many! It is hard to believe that 18 months have passed since we first saw the show in person as part of the media event during our March 2022 trip.
Here are our photos and video from today!
First, our video of “Dream…and Shine Brighter” that Jeff took from one of the stages.
Disneyland Paris President Natacha Rafalski was taking photos of the show going on in Central Plaza. Former Disneyland Paris Ambassador Giona Prevete was among the others with her.
To the left, David Duffy – Vice President Entertainment of Disneyland Paris – watches the show and crowds. He did a great job while here and he’s moving on to Walt Disney World next.
The heart of the show is the performers, and today there were performers from both seasons of “Dream…and Shine Brighter!”. It was good to see many familiar faces from last year!
Princess Tiana waves to the crowd from a float.
I was there today for two of the final shows. During the finale, I was in a very crowded Central Plaza. As popular as the entertainment has been at Disneyland Paris, I have never seen anything like the ending of “Dream…and Shine Brighter!”. Each show has a lot of fans, but the fan base has built for “Dream…and Shine Brighter!” in a very large way over the last 18 months.
Princess Tiana drew huge applause when she arrived to the stage. “Dream…and Shine Brighter” mixed fantastic music created for the show, along with a fun mix of characters who usually wouldn’t interact together so much.
One of the performers hugs Dale and another puts her arm around Chip in the background.
Peter Pan took to the stage.
There was more colorful pyro than usual coming from Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Bubbles surround Jessie.
Mickey and Minnie react to the bubbles.
They hug it out with Pluto and Genie.
Rapunzel and Dale throw up their hands on the float.
A line of Guest Flow Cast Members walk along the route after the cavalcade.
This is a quick article for now, but hopefully I will have time to reflect more on the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris soon. Halloween begins tomorrow!
