Mirabel Meet and Greet Debuts at Magic Kingdom (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

Mirabel from “Encanto” began meeting yesterday at the Magic Kingdom in Fairytale Garden (where Merida met for years). Mirabel was previously in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, a spot that Bruno took over yesterday. 

First, here is our meet and greet video with Mirabel, followed by photos.

The line was about one hour long to meet Mirabel. That was shorter than I expected, but it was a very hot day (with it still being summer).

Fairytale Garden is in Fantasyland, not far from Cinderella Castle.

There is a sign with information on meeting Mirabel. On this day, the hours were intermittently between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Check the app on the day you want to meet her for the current hours.

There are plants placed around the sign.

A mural of the Madrigal family is on the doors leading to the meet and greet. These doors close during the small periods of time that Mirabel isn’t meeting.

Once the doors opened, Mirabel stepped outside to greet guests who were waiting, with arms outstretched.

 

They also stopped to admire the family tree in a frame. The PhotoPass photgrapher (on the right) was one of the best we’ve had, I wish I had his name. He took a ton of photos and they were great.

Guests meet Mirabel on a small stage. Each family has their own time in this location while other guests wait.

It was our turn to meet Mirabel.

Mirabel will be a popular meet and greet for guests! And except for the afternoon heat, the wait time was reasonable for her first day meeting guests. She spent a nice amount of time meeting each group.
