EPCOT Construction Update From September 15th, 2023

Hi everyone!

It has been almost a month since our last EPCOT construction update, we are in between trips (we just returned from Disneyland) and had the chance yesterday evening to take some photos. World Celebration is scheduled to be complete in December 2023.

Here are photos from yesterday! The weather was threatening so it was a little darker than I had hoped for.

The rideshare loop has opened in the EPCOT parking lot since our last visit.

CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza are coming into view.

CommuniCore Hall will be a “flexible exhibition and gallery space, offering a wide variety of experiences that highlight art, live music, food – complete with a demonstration kitchen – and more.” Also there will be a Mickey & Friends meet and greet location.

More trees have been added around World Celebration since we last went through.

The central planter is based on the five-ring EPCOT logo. Dreamer’s Point with the Walt the Dreamer Statue will be in the background.

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is still having Cast Member previews. We went through in July 2023 and loved it! I have an article with about 65 sunset and night photos.

The sign was added since we went through. Passholder previews are soon, and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana officially opens on October 16th, 2023!
