Judge Doom Debuts at Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure (Photos, Video)

Oogie Boogie Bash returned last night to Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort. There were several new villains this year, with one of those being Judge Doom from “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”. He was really popular last night!

Here is our video, followed by photos.

Judge Doom is located at the Grizzly Peak Airfield, where Maleficent was in previous years (Maleficent is unfortunately not appearing this year). The line was long but moved quickly.

There is theming in the queue and also includes smoke effects. The queue is a villain treat trail, so guests receive candy along the way.

While he is not a meet and greet character, guests do interact with him.

A guest asked for him to demonstrate the Dip. Judge Doom picked up the Toon Shoe and did just that. You can watch it in the video as well as see it in our photos.

We were able to stand here for a while to photograph, as many others were doing. I think just after I left the Cast Members had the crowd move along because the amount of guests gathered was pretty large. That does happen on some treat trails if it is busy.

Oogie Boogie Bash is sold out for 2023. I will have many more articles from the event, we are also going to the second party tomorrow (Thursday, September 7th). This is our favorite Disney Halloween event!
