Mickey and Friends in New Halloween Costumes Greet Guests at Main Street Station in Disneyland (Photos, Video)
Hi everyone!
We are at the Disneyland Resort for Halloween Time this week, and our first stop yesterday was to see Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Clarabelle and more characters in their new Halloween costumes at the Main Street Train Station in the morning. We were told they greet guests from there from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m., though it wasn’t quite that long. At about 8:40 a.m., the characters went to meet guests personally in Town Square.
Here are photos and video from yesterday.
First, here is our video with four characters – Mickey, Goofy, Pluto and Donald. Mickey and Goofy dance in it!
The first character we saw was Clarabelle. She wears what look like a spider cowbell.
She also has spider accents behind her bow and on her dress.
Goofy was also greeting guests at this time. The characters do rotate and not all of the VIP characters were at the train station yesterday morning. On this particular day, Goofy and Mickey both appeared during two sets. Minnie, Daisy, Chip and Dale did not appear here at all.

Mickey is next, on his way to the greeting location. You will notice if you look at Halloween merchandise that the characters wear costumes that are shown in artwork and in some of the merchandise this year (as they have for the past couple of years).
The Straw Hatters band also made their way to the Main Street Train Station, which made it even more of a fun experience. Mickey and Goofy walk down the stairs to join each other here.

Donald arrived next. He looked like part devil with horns and part vampire with the teeth.

Mickey waves to everyone as he heads backstage. We thought at this time that there would be one more set of characters on the train station, but instead the meet and greets in Town Square started. We met Minnie and Goofy with Clarabelle (keep reading!)
We got in line for Minnie, which only was a few minute wait. I will have a separate article with more photos soon but wanted to show her costume. She wears a bat-themed outfit that includes a bat on her bow, on her dress and on her shoes.
We also met Clarabelle and Goofy.
Jeff noticed Dale walking down Main Street U.S.A. We haven’t yet seen Chip and Daisy but will have more to share of the characters in Halloween costumes this week.
