EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival 2023 Takes Shape as Booths Arrive
Hi everyone!
The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival kicks off in one week and will run from July 27th through November 18th, 2023! We were at EPCOT yesterday and took photos of some of the food booths that have been installed (or renamed from the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival) in preparation for the event.
Here are photos of some of the booths from yesterday!
The Hawai’i booth will open later than the Festival opening, on August 15th. Items here will include a Kālua Pork Slider with Sweet-and-Sour DOLE Pineapple Chutney and Spicy Mayonnaise, as well as a Passion Fruit Cheesecake with Toasted Macadamia Nuts.
Shimmering Sips will include a Guava Cake with Whipped Cream and Coconut (plant-based item) as well as a variety of mimosas.
There are Festival Market shops ready to sell merchandise.
Ireland will offer food that includes a Fisherman’s Seafood Pie and a Warm Chocolate Pudding Cake with Irish Cream Liqueur Custard.
At the France booth, I am looking forward to the Boeuf Bourguignon, Pommes Dauphine: Braised Short Ribs in Cabernet with Puffed Potatoes and the Vanilla Crème Brûlée with House-Made Strawberry Jam.
At the Japan booth, I look forward to the Teriyaki Chicken Bun: Steamed Bun filled with Chicken, Vegetables and Teriyaki Sauce as well as the new Sake Passion Cocktail.
The Alps booth has a new item – a Dark Chocolate Fondue with Berries, Pound Cake and Meringues. There are also a couple of food items with warm raclette Swiss cheese.
The India booth will again be my go-to booth this year, with the return of favorites like the Potato and Pea Samosa with Coriander-Lime Cream as well as a Chicken Tikka Masala with Fennel-Spiced Yogurt and Naan Bread. I also like an occasional Mango Lassi, which can be non-alcoholic or with Somrus Chai Cream Liqueur.
What are you most looking forward to at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival this year?
