Review: “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” at Disneyland Paris is a Brilliant, Must-See Show
Hi everyone!
Our friend Rony from DLPLicious covered the “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” press event for us yesterday at Disneyland Paris. “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” is scheduled to open on July 15th, 2023 at Studio Theater in Walt Disney Studios Park.
At the last minute, we found out there would be no photos or recording during the show (we have a couple of photos here originally posted by Disneyland Paris President Natacha Rafalski). So while we don’t have our own photos or video to share, Rony did offer some thoughts on the show, which he calls “brilliant”. We have some non-spoiler thoughts from Rony and then some spoilers below the synopsis.

As soon as the show was over last night, Rony’s first word was “Wow.” He said that “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” is amazing, including the technology that Disneyland Paris has for it. “The combination of classical show elements with high tech LED screens is insane”. He calls the storyline “beautiful” and says that they chose all the right songs.

Rony says that “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” is the must-see show of this season. I asked if he liked it more than “Mickey and the Magician” and he said they are different – that technology wise, “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” is above anything that Disneyland Paris has done. But now Walt Disney Studios Park has three terrific shows, including also “The Disney Junior Dream Factory”.
Here is the synopsis of the show from Disneyland Paris:
Charlie, a child who is passionate about music, dreams of conducting the orchestra for their school’s end-of-year gala. But something unexpected happens and Charlie loses the precious sheet music on the eve of the concert! As the child falls asleep, Woody and their Toy Story friends wake up and join forces to recover the scores scattered throughout various Pixar stories.
From the beloved Toy Story crew to Coco’s vibrant decor, the world of Up, Monsters, Inc. or Finding Nemo’s underwater reef, guests will be invited to embark on an immersive and multisensory poetic journey.

Spoilers:
“When Buzz is flying through the clouds, you feel the wind in your hair. The “Finding Nemo” scene takes you under the sea bubbles with water on your face”. He continued, “They are really using every single effect”. Giant screens move over and around the scene.
Rony’s favorite scene is “Coco”. He loves the special light-laser suit dancers with the great choreography. He also noted the part where Buzz is flying and trying to grab the music sheet as being “awesome”. “It really feels like you are flying next to him. You feel the breeze”.
We can’t wait to see “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” in September!
