Disneyland Paris Shares Behind-the-Scenes Video of Creating “TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure”

Disneyland Paris released a video about the creation of “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” that will open July 15th, 2023 at Walt Disney Studios Park. The video is in French with English subtitles and talks about the music, costumes and design of the upcoming Pixar show.

Show director Matthieu Robin says about “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure”, “It is a wonderful journey, which proves to us that when we are together, anything is possible”.
Executive Producer Anne Gravoin says that the show will be “touching” and “joyful” and poetic as well.
Show director Arnaud Feredj says, “For the very first time at Disneyland Paris, our guests will attend a cinema screening with live music”.

Charlie, a child who is passionate about music, dreams of conducting the orchestra for their school’s end-of-year gala. But something unexpected happens and Charlie loses the precious sheet music on the eve of the concert! As the child falls asleep, Woody and their Toy Story friends wake up and join forces to recover the scores scattered throughout various Pixar stories.
Music is always important to Disneyland Paris and “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” is no different. The music was recorded in Nashville, and there will also be eight musicians in a live orchestra at Disneyland Paris – Piano, violin, trumpet, cello, guitar, drums and saxophone, which “are all highlighted as an integral part of the story and accompany the spectator throughout each scene”. The instruments blend with the soundtrack, which is recorded with 54 artists at the Nashville studios.
Producer Astrid Gomez says they wanted to use traditional theater techniques, “while adding a touch of innovation by enhancing the immersive experience delivered to our guests by way of new effects”.
