Disneyland Paris Hosts Make-A-Wish Kids for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” European Gala Weekend

Disneyland Paris hosted several Make-A-Wish kids and their families for the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” European Gala, making dreams come true for them! Oliver (10), Ollie (14) and Aeden (14) and their families stayed at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and had a meet and greet with Chris Pratt and Zoé Saldaña. The “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” European Gala was held in Avengers Campus in Walt Disney Studios Park.

A magical weekend for Make-A-Wish kids

Oliver (10), Ollie (14) and Aeden (14) and their families, were invited by Disneyland Paris and Make-A-Wish to attend the weekend as guests of honor. As Marvel fans, and more specifically Guardians of the Galaxy fans, they stayed at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and discovered Avengers Campus in Walt Disney Studios Park. They attended the European Gala screening of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and were treated to a surprise meet and greet with stars of the movie Chris Pratt and Zoé Saldaña as part of their wish. This weekend turned their dreams into reality and created moments of much-needed joy and magic for the kids and their families.
On meeting the stars of the movie, Ollie said: “I couldn’t believe it when I got meet Star Lord! It’s been the most amazing weekend I could have ever wished for.”
“Ollie absolutely loves Guardians of the Galaxy so this has been the most wonderful celebration for Ollie and his sister Poppy and has really helped us close the door on a truly horrid time for our family,” said Ollie’s Mum Kate. “They were so excited on the build-up to his special wish, and to meet Hollywood stars was amazing and just unbelievably surreal. We can’t thank everyone enough for giving Ollie this most special couple of days.

Disney is one of the largest wish granters for Make-A-Wish across the globe, having fulfilled more than 145,000 wishes globally. Since 1992, more than 20,000 wishes have been granted at Disneyland Paris in partnership with more than 40 organizations across Europe.
