Big Thunder Mountain Reopens at Disneyland Paris After Month-long Refurbishment

Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris has reopened today (April 1st, 2023) after a month-long refurbishment. We had visited Disneyland Paris for two weeks in March and it was down the whole time. Guests were running (and fast walking it) to Big Thunder Mountain to ride this morning! Being Saturday, it was an extra busy morning.

The wait time built up pretty quickly.

It is great to see the trains now running again. Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris is our favorite Big Thunder Mountain anywhere. It is a superb version of the attraction.

Martin sent us a number of clips, so we’ll make one longer video with them later today. In the meantime, enjoy a minute of the newly reopened Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!
