Topiaries of Kermit and Miss Piggy (with a New Look!) Arrive for EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2023
Hi everyone!
Miss Piggy and Kermit from “The Muppets” are back as topiaries for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2023, and Miss Piggy has debuted a new, more lifelike look. The festival kicks off on March 1st, 2023 and topiaries are being placed around the park each day.
Here is a look at the Miss Piggy and Kermit topiaries from yesterday, with one photo of Miss Piggy from 2021 to show the change.
First, our video:
And my photos from yesterday.
This is a photo I took of Miss Piggy in 2021 (she looked the same last year). Her face and legs were part of the plant, all green. Also, her ears and the top of her arms.
Now, Miss Piggy still has the green dress and hair that grows, but a lifelike complexion, arms and legs.
Kermit has not changed a lot since the duo debuted as topiaries in 2014 for “Muppets Most Wanted”.
He rides his bike that he’s been on for many years of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
The bike is made out of natural materials.
The Miss Piggy and Kermit topiaries can be found in the area between the Morocco and France pavilions.
Miss Piggy wears her pearls and long, purple gloves.
A lizard scampers across Miss Piggy’s face.
Disney horticulturists are so talented, and it’s exciting to see the changes to the topiaries each year.
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs from March 1st – July 5th, 2023 and I always recommend visiting during this time! This is my favorite festival – the topiaries are stunning and there are concerts, special food to purchase and more.
