Pluto, Donald and Goofy Visit Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Their Holiday Outfits (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

We were at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort yesterday for dinner and while waiting for Three Bridges to open, I noticed Donald Duck inside the former lobby of the resort. We went back inside and found Donald, Goofy and Pluto in their holiday costumes, available to meet and interact with guests (although there weren’t many guests around) as part of Caravanning ‘Round the World. These surprise character interactions are fun when one happens upon them!

Pluto was wearing reindeer antlers, and had a green collar with red tag. Behind him you can see the “hidden” Mickey Mouse still in lights in the former lobby of the resort. This area is now more of a lounge, with the newer resort lobby in the Gran Destino Tower.

And then he threw up his arms.

Goofy wore a festive hat and a snowflake sweater.

There was no line, so we both were able to have photos taken with the characters.

Donald also wore a hat and a snowflake sweater. The character attendants wore costumes from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

When the characters and attendants left, they went to this RV with a Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary design.

 

We then had a great meal at Three Bridges and enjoyed looking at the Gran Destino Tower holiday decorations. We definitely weren’t expecting to see the Disney characters, and especially not in their holiday costumes yesterday.  It was a nice surprise.
