Disneyland Paris Shares Top Tips for Staying Warm in Winter at the Parks and Resorts
Hi everyone!
Disneyland Paris shared some top tips for staying warm in the winter when visiting its parks and resorts via author Katie Green on the Disney Parks Blog. We utilize most of these when visiting during cold weather times (and a lot more). We even experienced a Disneyland Paris snowfall in 2021.
Here are the tips from the Disney Parks Blog!
Disneyland Paris saw its first snowfall of winter, as a light flurry coated the resort earlier this month. While Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort aren’t home to this sort of winter, Disneyland Paris is no stranger to being turned into a magical winter wonderland this time of year!
If you’re planning on visiting Disneyland Paris during the winter, here are some of our top tips for staying warm and cozy.
There are plenty of indoor spaces to explore at Disneyland Paris and you’ll find two hidden gems as you enter Disneyland Park. Either side of Main Street, U.S.A, you can discover two beautiful arcades that offer a cozy cover from the wintery weather. In Discovery Arcade, you can explore imaginative ideas and inventions. While in Liberty Arcade, you can learn more about American history and the French origin of Lady Liberty. Not only that, both arcades offer entrances to numerous stores that line Main Street, U.S.A.
And what better way to keep warm than by enjoying the many indoor attractions at Disneyland Paris! Fun for all the family, take flight on Peter Pan’s Flight or battle it out on Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast in Disneyland Park. Or if you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, help Spider-Man in WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure or dive into the deep blue on Crush’s Coaster at Walt Disney Studios Park.
Chilly days exploring the parks means you won’t want to miss out on warming up with a hearty meal at one of the many restaurants. Explore the warm, forest lodge atmosphere of Disney Sequoia Lodge, where you can sit down and relax in front of the cozy fireplace at Redwood Bar or treat yourself to traditional French raclette at Hunter’s Bar and Grill. You can also head into the parks to treat your tastebuds! From the Victorian ambiance and fine dining of Walt’s – an American restaurant to the fairytale character dining and French cuisine at Auberge de Cendrillon.
And, if you’re looking to sit back, relax and take off your coat, head over to Walt Disney Studios Park to enjoy incredible indoor entertainment, with a host of shows for the entire family. Cast spellbinding magic with Mickey and Friends in “Mickey and the Magician” or unleash the magic of song and dance in “Disney Junior Dream Factory”.
Winter at Disneyland Paris truly is a special time of year — it’s time to bundle up in a coat with a cup of chocolate chaud in hand and hit the parks!
