TRON Construction Update for October 20th, 2022 at Magic Kingdom (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

We were at the Magic Kingdom yesterday and took a ride on the PeopleMover for TRON Lightcycle Run photos and video, before heading into Storybook Circus for that angle as well. It had been about 2 months since we’d been to the Magic Kingdom due to traveling, and quite a bit has changed since then. TRON Lightcycle Run is scheduled to open in Spring 2023. Here is our video first, followed by photos!

Quite a bit of landscaping has been added since our last visit, plus railings and such.

At the entrance to the attraction, signage has been placed overhead.

The signage includes TRON cycles and also it says “Welcome”.

We passed by the construction on the PeopleMover.

The tunnel for the Walt Disney World Railroad can be seen past the new trees.

Work is still ongoing at the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.

And you can see work next to it as well.

I look forward to the return of the Walt Disney World Railroad.

At Storybook Circus, you can see train tracks. 

Also, the water tower is back from refurbishment.

While we were in Storybook Circus, the TRON vehicles started cycling constantly.
