“It’s a Small World” Nursery on the Disney Wish – Photos and Video
Hi everyone!
During the Disney Wish christening/media cruise, we were able to tour a variety of spaces on the newest Disney Cruise Line ship (it sets sail officially July 14th!). One of those areas was the “it’s a small world” nursery, which is absolutely charming and includes so many different characters and stories in the artwork. Here is a look at the nursery in photos and video!
The sign to the nursery features Peter Pan and Tinker Bell.
Here is our video followed by photos.
There is a mural in the reception area.
The Disney Cruise Line states that there are three different spaces as part of the nursery on the Disney Wish.
Disney says of this room, The Play Room: Emphasizes classic stories from Europe and Asia and includes interactive murals featuring Elsa and Olaf, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, and Aladdin and Jasmine.
A table features some toys.
The wide range of characters include Merida and her brothers from “Brave”, Marie from “The Artistocats” and Remy from “Ratatouille”.
There is more added as well to the Eiffel Tower, including the rose from “Beauty and the Beast”.
Luca and Alberta from “Luca” are near Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket, with Rapunzel to the right.
Elsa, Anna and Olaf from “Frozen are nearby, with the “it’s a small world” design throughout.
There is a cute train that was running around the area, featuring Mickey and Minnie.
More toys can be seen here.

Raya and Tuk Tuk.
Disney says of The Decompression Area:
Designed to help youngsters adjust to their new environment, with a fanciful mural highlighting South America, Central America and Africa-inspired characters from Coco, The Lion King, Black Panther and Encanto.
“Black Panther” and “The Lion King” scenes are on the wall.
“Coco”.
The iconic crocodile from the attraction is here.
Mirabel from “Encanto” is featured with the Casa Madrigal.
There is a children’s restroom.
Inside theming includes “The Little Mermaid”.
Outside, Stitch is also part of the artwork design.
Moana, Maui and Pua with Heihei.
Koalas and kangaroos from “it’s a small world”. Behind them is what Disney calls “The Nap Room”. We do have it in video but it was a little dark for photos (I took one).
From the Disney Cruise Line: The Nap Room: A quiet and peaceful space featuring images of popular characters like Pocahontas, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Lightning McQueen, Tiana, Spider-Man and many more.
Inside the room it includes “Toy Story” characters and this Pixar mobile.
I didn’t take photos of everything, but this gives a pretty good idea of what the “it’s a small world” nursery is like. It is a vibrant space and kids will love seeing their favorite characters throughout the artwork!
Information on booking the “it’s a small world” nursery can be found on the Disney Cruise Line website.
