Sneak Peek of Disney and Pixar’s “Lightyear” Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 20th

Beginning Friday, May 20th, 2022, guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World can get a sneak peek of scenes from Disney and Pixar’s Lightyear inside Walt Disney Presents. The sneak peek will also be coming soon to Disneyland Paris and the Disney Cruise Line. Disney and Pixar’s Lightyear will release in theaters June 17th, 2022.

The Disney Parks Blog shared the news, and caled Lightyear, “A sci-fi action adventure and the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear, the hero who inspired the toy, Lightyear follows the legendary Space Ranger on an intergalactic adventure alongside a group of ambitious recruits and his robot companion Sox.”

Chris Evans – the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the film – made the announcement. Check out the video!

In addition to Chris Evans, voices include Uzo Aduba as his commander and best friend Alisha Hawthorne and Peter Sohn as Sox.  Lightyear is directed by Angus MacLane (co-director “Finding Dory”), produced by Galyn Susman (“Toy Story That Time Forgot”) and featuring a score by award-winning composer Michael Giacchino (“The Batman,” “Up”).
