Connections Café at EPCOT – Photos, Video Inside New Starbucks Location
Hi everyone!
Connections Café & Eatery opened this past week at EPCOT, with Connections Café being the Starbucks section of this massive location (the Eatery offers quick service dining including burgers and salads). Here is a look at Connections Café!
The Starbucks logo is outside.
There are a number of entrances, with this one having a special meaning for EPCOT. The Disney Parks Blog says of this flooring,
There are three original floor inlays inspired by Walt’s 1966 “Florida Project” site plans, where EPCOT was to serve as the literal and conceptual “center” of Walt Disney World. Thoughtful details like these really bring this location to life by honoring the original dream of EPCOT and the magic of possibility. The park’s original DNA is woven throughout Connections Café and Eatery, the latest example of how this EPCOT transformation honors our past while moving us forward into the future.
Here is our video followed by photos.
There are panels with the EPCOT logo.
There is plenty of queue space for guests.
Merchandise including Starbucks mugs and tumblers is for sale.
While waiting in line, I could spot Spaceship Earth through the huge windows.
Here are a few of the drinks that are available.
Cuties mandarins and drinks were in this case.
Coca-Cola can be found in 50th Anniversary bottles.
There are breakfast sandwiches and standards like coffee cake and croissants.
The one thing that is different is the Liege Waffle. We ordered it (and later we tried the waffle at Connections Eatery with the toppings).
The Liege Waffle was lightly sweet and fluffy.

There is seating on this level that leads to the giant mural by Walt Disney Imagineering.
We sat in seats that surrounded the EPCOT logo.
There is plenty of room in the location.
Seating comes in many forms.
Both Connections Café and Connections Eatery have open kitchens. There was a Minnie Mouse shape in M&M’s.
Here is one more look into Connections Café. It wasn’t too crowded when we were there on Friday but once Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opens next month, this area of the park should be consistently busy all day.
Connections Café & Eatery is a much needed addition to EPCOT and it’s nice to have a larger Starbucks back again.
