Construction Photos of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and “Moana” Journey of Water at EPCOT 3/23/22
Hi everyone!
We rode the EPCOT monorail yesterday to check out the construction progress on various progress. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is mostly finished outside except they are working on landscaping and such. A “Treasures of Xandar” store sign could be seen in the distance, though it was hard to capture even with my camera yesterday. And a lot has been happening on Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana since my last trip around a few weeks ago (before our Paris trip). Here are photos from yesterday!
The area around Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind looks almost finished. The attraction is scheduled to open this summer.
This is where the Treasures of Xandar shop is. The photo was with my telephoto lens.
It is actually easier to photograph from the ground, though the lighting made it hard to capture it clearly. I will try next week again.
The Nova Corps Starblaster has been complete for a while.
There is still some work going on outside Connections Cafe.
It looks like a new planting took place recently (spring flowers). During this long of an EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, there should be 3 plantings total.
Here is a look down the center.
The walkway opened a couple of days ago from Spaceship Earth and more directly to the center of the park.
Again, it looks like new planting here as well.
On this side is Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana construction. There has been a lot of progress since our last visit.
Colorful flower planters float in the water here with construction in the background.
There are a lot of areas being built upwards now.
We will share more photos soon!
