Mirabel from “Encanto” Now Meeting at Disney California Adventure

Mirabel from the upcoming Walt Disney Animation Studios’ film “Encanto” (debuting in theaters November 24th) is now greeting guests at Disney California Adventure. Disneyland provided this photo of Mirabel at her location in Paradise Gardens for Disney ¡Viva Navidad!.

This year, during the holidays at the Disneyland Resort, guests can enjoy special appearances by Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ all-new musical comedy,‘Encanto,’ inspired by the people and cultures of Colombia. This joyful, limited-time experience brings a new cultural perspective to the immersive ‘¡Disney Viva Navidad! festivities at Disney Festival of Holidays, with live entertainment, interactive photo opportunities, and the young hero from the film, which opens only in theaters Nov. 24. Disney says about the addition of “Encanto” to “Disney ¡Viva Navidad! this year:

For the first time, guests are invited to gather with family and friends to enjoy a celebration of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ new musical comedy, “Encanto,” which is inspired by the people and cultures of Colombia and brings a new cultural perspective to “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” festivities. Guests will enjoy authentic Colombian music from the band El Sabor Bueno performing at the Paradise Garden Bandstand and can also see the film’s young hero, Mirabel, who debuts in the park at a colorful photo location that evokes the “casita,” the enchanted home of the film’s magical Madrigal family. “Encanto” opens only in theaters Nov. 24, 2021.

Festival of the Holidays at Disney California Adventure as well as the rest of the Disneyland Resort holiday season runs from Nov. 12, 2021 through Jan. 9, 2022.
