Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom will Open September 29th with New Treats, Candy Wall
Hi everyone!
The Main Street Confectionery at the Magic Kingdom will be reopening on September 29th, 2021 – just in time for the kickoff of The World’s Most Magical Celebration as Walt Disney World celebrates 50 years. The shop will now be hosted by Mars Wrigley, which has been a sponsor of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for a number of years. The Disney Parks Blog had a post sharing some information today on this new location.

There will be new interactive opportunities to customize confections.
The new candy wall will include 38 varieties of M&M’S and SKITTLES. The Disney Parks Blog says, If you’re in the mood for something savory and sweet, you can now personalize your popcorn experience with multiple combinations. Select from four popcorn flavors – caramel, rainbow fruit, buttery, cheddar – and then top it all off with a selection of M&M’S or SKITTLES candies or perhaps even with some chocolate drizzle for an extra sweet treat!
Guests can watch Cast Members make and decorate favorite items like candy apples and Mickey crisped rice cereal treats. Disney says there are more than 30 new items you won’t find anywhere else.
There are new fudge varieties including Peanut Butter Fudge topped with M&M’S Peanut Butter Candies and drizzled with chocolate.
Starting on October 1st, 2021 there will be four limited time treats for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
The last major refurbishment I can remember here was about 20 years ago. It will be fun to see the new look!
