A Look at Disney’s Animal Kingdom “Fab 50” Statues for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary

Hi everyone!

Walt Disney World placed golden “Fab 50” character sculptures in all four parks for the 50th Anniversary, which kicks off on October 1st, 2021. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is our final article, we posted about all the statues in the other three parks (we were visiting California when they were placed and are finally just finishing up). The Magic Kingdom has by far the most statues and characters for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”.

Bambi and Thumper share one statue base.

Bambi has a butterfly on his tail.

Thumper is at Bambi’s feet.

Simba, Pumbaa and Timon are next.

You can see the Tree of Life in the background. All of the sculptures are in this general area.

The last sculpture is of Dory and Nemo.

This is a smaller one and set back in the plants a little.

The Fab 50 sculptures were fun to find in each park.
