Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to Move to Standby Queue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be moving to a standby queue starting September 23rd, 2021, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The popular Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction has been using a virtual queue since it opened in 2019. It is possible it could be used again for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at a later date “or from time to time”. Virtual queues will still be in use for “attraction access, merchandise launches, grand openings and more”, and Disney says that guests should check the My Disney Experience app for the latest.
