Epcot’s Biergarten Restaurant to Return to a Buffet Experience August 29th, 2021

Hi everyone –

The Biergarten Restaurant in the German pavilion at EPCOT will offer a buffet experience for lunch and dinner starting August 29th, 2021. The restaurant has offered a terrific family style meal since it reopened and I’m glad we enjoyed it once that way (in April). The Biergarten offers German dishes including pretzel rolls, bratwurst, schnitzel and desserts – my favorite is the Bavarian Cheesecake. And of course, entertainment is included. The Biergarten is one of my favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World.

The buffet menu is not available on the official Walt Disney World website yet, but it should be soon.

This isn’t the first buffet to reopen at Walt Disney World. Boma just reopened for breakfast and dinner as a buffet. Also, Ravello at Four Seasons Resort Orlando has offered a buffet for breakfast on non-Disney character days.

I’m a little disappointed to see the family style service leave but look forward to visiting The Biergarten again, maybe during the holidays – it has been a tradition in recent years.
