Disney’s After Hours Boo Bash: Nighttime Photos Including Projections From 1st Night
Hi everyone!
One of my favorite aspects of Disney After Hours Boo Bash (just as with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party) is the special Halloween lighting and music package. I’ve already posted an overview/review of the event and a character article – and today I also wanted to share some nighttime Boo Bash photos around the Magic Kingdom. With fewer guests in the park, it makes for a nice time to take pictures.
The pumpkin wreaths are lit every night, not just for the event. Disney says of the pumpkins, “And, as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” that gets underway Oct. 1 on the Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary, the festive pumpkin decorations will receive a magical transformation inspired by the enchanting story of Cinderella.”
The fountains receive colorful lighting that changes as well.
Cinderella Castle turns red, green, blue…and I think the 50th decorations look even prettier at night.
Main Street also is lit up in Halloween colors.
Cinderella Castle looks green and blue here, with the fountain bathed in blue.
Colorful spiders move around their webs in these Tomorrowland projections. I don’t remember such colorful projections in the past.
Space Mountain traditionally has Halloween colors during the parties. There are a variety of projections here too.
A pumpkin can be seen in Tomorrowland with the People Mover track in view.
This may be my favorite look of Cinderella Castle – green with blue.
From the back of the castle, a deep green.
The Haunted Mansion red and blue lighting gives an eerie look to it.
I’m back on Main Street for end of the night photos.
A closer look at the “50” emblem.
Ghost projections creep up Cinderella Castle.
A view through the pumpkins at Town Square.
Halloween projections were outside the Main Street Train Station.
In our Mousesteps Weekly show #408, we talk all about Disney After Hours Boo Bash.
We had a nice time in the park and look forward to Disney Very Merriest After Hours, which will include Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks – it will be much closer to a traditional Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party event than this was to a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
