Disneyland Resort Theme Parks to Welcome Guests From Outside California Starting June 15th, 2021

The Disney Parks Blog has announced that the Disneyland Resort theme parks will be welcoming guests back from outside of California starting on June 15th, 2021! In addition, the theme park reservation window has expanded. We are scheduled for late August and can now book our park reservations with that new 120 day window.

The phased reopening of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure began on April 30th and will continue to expand. Avengers Campus opens at Disney California Adventure park on June 4, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel opens on June 15 and Disneyland Hotel on July 2.

Kelsey Lynch, Public Relations Manager of the Disneyland Resort says, “Today we’re pleased to announce that beginning June 15, 2021, we will once again be able to welcome travelers from outside the state of California back to our theme parks! Out-of-state visitors may now begin booking their return to the parks on Disneyland.com. Until June 15, all guests visiting the Disneyland Resort must be California residents visiting in groups no larger than 3 households.*”

Disneyland does say that the State of California strongly recommends all guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test before entering the theme parks. Approved face coverings are required. Procedures can change in the coming months and the latest information can be found on Disneyland.com/Updates, which will be continually updated with the newest guidance.

To enter a theme park, all guests age 3 and older need to have both a ticket and theme park reservation for the same park on the same date. Read more on the recently announced way for guests to purchase theme park tickets at the same time they make park reservations.
