Blue Bayou Restaurant Menu at Disneyland Revealed, Including Alcohol Offerings

Hi everyone!

Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland will be reopening on May 27th, 2021 with online reservations starting May 18th. The New Orleans Square restaurant will be serving alcohol for the first time (only Club 33 and Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge currently serve alcohol within the park). Blue Bayou Restaurant has a somewhat smaller menu and the alcohol list is modest, but it will be nice to have wine – and maybe a Hurricane cocktail – next visit.

You can find the lunch and dinner menu – which currently are the same – here.

The wine list is mostly from California, although there is a Cuvée from France. We just had a bottle of the J. Wilkes Cabernet Sauvignon last week – I tend usually towards a white wine but it is a lovely red.

The Hurricane Cocktail includes Bacardi Reserva Ocho Rum and Myers Original Dark Rum. There are two beers – Karl Strauss Boat Shoes Hazy IPA from San Diego and Abita Amber Lager from Covington, Louisiana.

As far as food, there are dishes that will be familiar, including the Signature Gumbo, Jambalaya and Monte Cristo Sandwich. There has also been a Surf and Turf on the menu previously – a petite filet and lobster tail, and it is there now without the Surf and Turf name. The last time we ordered the petite filet with lobster tail, it came with potato gratin but I am more partial to the mashed potatoes as a side on this menu.

The 8-Layer Chocolate and Hazelnut Cake have been part of the Blue Bayou Restaurant menu previously. The other dessert is a Vanilla-Bourbon Créme Brûlée. There are also several meal choices for kids.

I have quite a few restaurants on my list for our next visit to Disneyland, and Blue Bayou Restaurant is near the top of it. There is just something wonderful about the atmosphere while watching the Pirates of the Caribbean boats glide by.
