More Walt Disney World Resorts Reopening Soon, Including Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

Hi everyone!

More Walt Disney World Resorts are scheduled to reopen in the coming months and are now accepting reservations. The four listed below are all Deluxe resorts that have Disney Vacation Club components and have been operating with some dining, shopping, and recreation (unlike resorts such as Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside, which are still completely closed). It is nice to see more resorts coming online!

I am looking forward to seeing the new porte-cochère for Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and the Moana themed rooms when Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort opens in late July. We do recommend booking with our partner MEI Travel & Mouse Fan Travel.

Here are the resorts:

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is scheduled to reopen on May 30th, 2021

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort is scheduled to reopen on June 6th, 2021

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is scheduled to reopen on July 2nd, 2021.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is still on schedule for a late July 2021 reopening.

Disney says of these reopenings:

Future reopening dates are subject to change and Guests’ reservations could still be modified to other Disney Resort hotels if needed.

Given the current situation, there are some Disney Resort hotels and other areas that are not, as of this time, being scheduled for reopening yet. We will continue to evaluate the situation and reopen more locations when the environment is right to do so.
