Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Photos from April 22nd, 2021

Hi everyone!

We were at Epcot for a couple of hours yesterday and I took photos (as I always do) of flowers and topiaries for Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. I wanted to share some of the gorgeous day! I posted all the Epcot topiaries in a previous article and we have posted photos and video since before the festival kicked off in early March.

I like arriving prior to official park opening when fewer guests are walking around. That allows long shots of the topiaries, like the Toy Story 4 topiary display with a bed of flowers in the foreground.

The sheep are super cute.

The Goodness Garden Butterfly House was not yet open, but there was an abundance of butterflies outside of it.

We didn’t end up going into the tent but enjoyed the butterflies for a bit.

A Cast Member had formed a Mickey out of leaves that had fallen.

Many topiary displays have a gorgeous display of flowers that surround them.

Victoria Gardens in the Canada Pavilion is always gorgeous, but especially during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

The colors here are really vibrant.

We spent more time in Canada yesterday than other pavilions.

The Canada pavilion has beautiful waterfalls.

A bird landed just before this photo and walked toward the United Kingdom pavilion.

It looked like it was admiring the topiaries.

It was actually looking for lunch, which it did find.

I have taken a lot of photos of Belle and Beast in France, but there are pretty flowers that surround them and I hadn’t taken this angle yet.

A bee lands on a plant.

Until this year, I don’t remember seeing a lot of “onstage” topiary clipping. I enjoy seeing the work that goes into the flowers and topiaries this year.

Apparently the topiaries get trimmed up every week.

Wind spinners have been sold for as long as I can remember, this Mickey one is fun.

In Mexico, a lot of the orchids are closer to guests than other years. They are much more accessible for viewing.

Tower of Terror can be seen past Morocco.

The flower quilt can barely be seen here but the reflection looks intense in color. I thought it looked beautiful.

Here are those flowers.

The topiary display of Mickey, Minnie and Goofy is themed to construction – there is plenty of that still going on here but Creations Shop will replace Mouse Gear this summer and Club Cool will be adjacent. It will be nice to see a portion of the work complete as Epcot goes through a transformation.

Lights are being added to Spaceship Earth so it can be one of four Beacons of Magic for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

We will be back at Epcot next Monday to dine at the Biergarten (one of our first indoor restaurant experiences after being fully vaccinated) and enjoy more of Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. If you like this type of article, let me know – I love sharing photos of the festival!
