Mardi Gras extended at Universal Orlando Until May 2nd, 2021

Universal Orlando has extended Mardi Gras 2021: International Flavors of Carnaval  through Sunday, May 2. With spring break being so busy, it is nice to have the extra time to experience it in the upcoming month. Mardi Gras 2021 already has been extended once. There are more than 100 food and beverage items inspired by Carnaval celebrations around the world to enjoy – I am looking forward to picking up a tasting lanyard and sampling some items in a couple of weeks.

Some information on tasting lanyards:

  • Sample 10 items for $55 + tax.
  • Passholders can purchase an exclusive lanyard that includes 15 items for $65 + tax.
  • Available for purchase at all tasting locations, plus the Universal Studios Reservation Cart

There are also floats and entertainment in the park, and the resorts and CityWalk both have some specialty items. Don’t miss the Mardi Gras Tribute Store! The Tribute Store is so well themed and offers food items including King cake. Another must-do is the Krewe Crawl Scavenger Hunt. Read more on the official Universal Orlando website.

Just FYI – there have been a lot of “at capacity” days lately, especially on weekends and during Easter week. Hopefully it will be a little less busy soon but weekends are always busy these days.
