Disney Cruise Line Announces “Staycation” Sailings This Summer for UK Residents

UK residents will be able to set sail this summer on a “unique Disney staycation at sea” aboard 2, 3 and limited 4-night cruises from the United Kingdom on the Disney Cruise Line. The sailings will be departing on select dates from London Tilbury, Newcastle, Liverpool and Southampton aboard the Disney Magic and are exclusive to UK residents. No dates have been announced at this time and there will be no port stops.

While embarking on this close-to-home experience, guests will be enjoying a full Disney experience. Disney says of the character interactions, Snap photos of mighty Marvel heroes or Captain Mickey, behold a royal promenade with Disney Princesses, and greet Toy Story friends. There are health and safety measures in place, including reduced capacity and face coverings. And of course, guests will enjoy the themed Disney restaurants and entertainment.

Currently in the United States we have not had cruising start back up again due to CDC guidelines but I’d love to see “staycation” cruises here too until it is possible to have the full cruise experience again.
