“The Lion King” Topiaries Updated & in New Location for Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival 2021

Hi everyone!

“The Lion King” topiaries have been updated for 2021 and moved from the Outpost location that they’ve been displayed in for years. The topiaries now can be found on the west side of Future World and it is almost impossible not to see them! Simba is held up by Rafiki as Mufasa and Sarabi flank them. Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off March 3rd, 2021 and runs through July 5th, 2021. Here are photos from yesterday!

First, a look from last year at the topiaries. Rafiki and Simba look similar but Mufasa and Sarabi have received major updates.

Look at the difference!

Rafiki was a bit in the shadow here as he holds Simba.

Mufasa has a more lifelike mane.

Here is a look from the side. They are also in a vibrant flower bed.

Sarabi is on the other side. It is nice to see both characters updated for 2021.

Spaceship Earth can be seen from this side.

And on this side, the Imagination pavilion.

From the Imagination pavilion, I had a good view.

I look forward to opening day of Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival next week! This is my favorite festival and we have three partial days planned (Tues-Thurs) to enjoy the topiaries and some of the Outdoor Kitchen food & beverage items.
