Disneyland Paris Shares Photos of Euro Disney Promotional Billboards, Highway Signs from Opening Year
Hi everyone!
Disneyland Paris shared a handful of “Back in Time” photos featuring promotional billboards and highway signs from 30 years ago around the time Euro Disney opened. I didn’t visit until 2002 so I missed out on the Euro Disney aspect of the park. Euro Disney opened on April 12th, 1992.
First is a Parc Euro Disneyland highway sign that tells guest the exit is approaching.
The Disneyland Paris toll booth looks similar but with a “Euro” to the left.
The flagship Disneyland Hotel can be seen in the distance in this photo.
In the Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau Paris Metro station, there is advertising here for Euro Disney.
“You are just a few steps from the RER Charles de Gaulle Etoile station and just a few stops from Euro Disney”.
The last photo from Disneyland Paris is at the Bry-sur-Marne RER station. It features a Discoveryland billboard.
“This summer, explore outer space just 32 km from Paris”.
Thank you to Disneyland Paris for sharing these fun photos! They often share information and photos with us and it’s nice to be able to learn about (and share) a little of the history of the parks.
