Kermit and Miss Piggy Topiaries in Place for Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival 2021

Hi everyone!

Kermit and Miss Piggy have returned to the area between the United Kingdom and Canada this year for Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, which runs from March 3rd- July 5th, 2021. These topiaries first debuted with the film Muppets Most Wanted in 2014, and then appeared in the France pavilion with Kermit on a bike in 2019. Last year they moved here for the brief time the festival was open. It is nice to see them back! Here are photos and video.

Kermit is biking through some colorful flowers.

It is always fun to see Kermit on a bike.

Back in 2019, he carried a baguette on his bike. Now he carries just flowers.

The bike is made out of natural materials.

When Muppets Most Wanted debuted, the Kermit topiary played a banjo and didn’t ride a bike.

Here is a look at his feet. And I mentioned the natural materials, you can even see that in the bike chain.

 

In the background is the United Kingdom pavilion, which has quite a few topiaries (the Peter Pan set and Winnie the Pooh & Friends).

Miss Piggy looks really great this year, with purple gloves as she sits on and with her luggage and purse.

  

There are benches near the characters – the best time to capture photos of the topiaries in World Showcase is first thing in the morning (when Epcot’s gate opens).

Miss Piggy looks like she is waving to guests.

There are a lot of pretty flowers surrounding them.

A Friendship Boat can be seen beyond Kermit here, along with the barges for Harmonious.
