Taste of Epcot Flower & Garden Festival Taking Shape – Flower Quilt, Flowers, Butterfly Topiaries
Hi everyone!
Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off on March 3rd, 2021. While the front entrance still celebrates Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts (running through February 22nd), the main flower quilt has been planted. In addition, flowers are being added around the park, the butterfly house is being built and topiary butterflies are up. Here is a look from today!
The Goodness Garden Butterfly House is being constructed on west side of the park.
Pooh was out trying to catch butterflies (as he has since the parks reopened).
The butterfly topiaries went up this week.
The butterflies are the first topiaries to go up for the festival this year.
The Imagination pavilion is in the background.
Flowers brighten up the area.
The main flower quilt has been planted, including Mickey heads.
Mickey can be seen in the design twice in this photo.
Spaceship Earth is also in frame.
There are flags in the grass for the flower quilt near the Odyssey.
The butterfly at the International Gateway is filling in.
Blink and you will miss it! I don’t even remember seeing this Tabebuia tree bloom and now it is shedding its leaves.
The Italy flowers look beautiful!
There is a very large flower display on the stage in Italy as well.
They can be seen from all sides.
This is my very favorite time of year at Walt Disney World! The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival (this year the Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival) is my favorite festival and the overlap with my second favorite festival is always even more wonderful.
