M&M’s Orlando Store Construction Update at Disney Springs from January 21, 2021
Hi everyone!
The M&M’s Orlando store was originally scheduled to open last year at Disney Springs, but now we are looking for a 2021 opening and the colorful exterior is shaping up to look very much like the completed concept art. Disney Springs is certainly the place to go if one has a sweet tooth these days, with the latest openings being Gideon’s Bakehouse and Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew – and soon the M&M’s Store. Here is a look at photos from two days ago!
The shop is being added next to Splitsville as part of the West Side lineup. Across the way is the House of Blues.
Disney says about the shop, Find all your fave flavors neatly nestled in a kaleidoscopic wall of rainbow-colored goodness—including milk as well as white chocolate, peanut, caramel, crunchy mint and more. Plus, candy fans can browse a line of humorous apparel, accessories, kitchenware and other items featuring the beloved M&M’S™ characters.
A large M&M is easy to spot.
The Cirque du Soleil building is also in view. The show “Drawn to Life” was originally scheduled to open in 2020 but has not yet. The NBA Experience is also currently closed next door, so it will be especially good to have another shop to bring guests to the West Side.
Here is a look at the concept art.
Guests can scan the QR code for special offers while waiting for the store to open.
Here is one last look at the upcoming location! The House of Blues water tower can be seen in a nearby reflection as well.
We will post more about the M&M’s store as it gets closer to opening.
