Hidden Character Art in World Showcase Back for Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts 2021 (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

“Chalk Full of Character”, the hidden character artwork around World Showcase has returned for Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts. This is a fun scavenger hunt and while most of the characters are in the same location as last year, not all are. This article is completely full of spoilers (so if you plan to go to Epcot and search, definitely don’t read further). This is always a fun way to spend a little time each year!

Figment is here on the walkway to World Showcase and explains to guests to look for the drawings (it mentions chalk drawings, but these are the same decal art as always). The art is really fun though.

Here is our video of all the artwork around World Showcase!

First up, Canada.

Koda can be found here with a fish.

The Robin Hood group can be found in the same location as last year in the United Kingdom pavilion. And you will see also that there were still Christmas decorations up at this time.

They are outside Lords & Ladies shop.

Peter Pan is back in shadow form although I think in a different location.

The France pavilion always has quite a few to look for. Lumiere is ahead to the left.

Here is a closer look.

Marie, Toulouse and Berlioz are near La Maison du Vin.

They are next to the La Petite Rue street sign.

And two other characters can be found here, in front of Les Halles Boulangerie.

Remy and Emile are here.

Remy is on one post.

Emile is inside a macaron dessert.

Off to Japan!

In front of the Mitsukoshi store, Gelatoni and Duffy can be found again (with a painting of Mickey Mouse).

Amos from “Ben & Me” is in the American Adventure pavilion.

Here is a closer look.

Abu is back in the Morocco pavilion.

Jiminy Cricket is in a slightly different area at the Italy pavilion due to construction.

Germany always has several Pascals to find.

Pascal #1.

The Volkskunst shop has another hidden Pascal, and this one actually is a little trickier to find than the others.

He is again hidden in the wording “Clocks and Crafts”.

The last Pascal is in front of Karamell-Küche.

His tongue is out to grab a piece of caramel corn.

The hyenas from “The Lion King” can be found at the Refreshment Outpost.

Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed look to be fighting over a hot dog.

Little Brother from “Mulan” is back in his location behind these benches.

Mushu and Cri-Kee have a new area in China.

This is one of my favorite pieces of artwork and also inspired actual artwork for purchase at the Festival this year.

The Mushu and Cri-Kee artwork is to the left here.

Snowgies can be found in Norway.

And Dante is found again in two forms at the Mexico pavilion. These can be harder to find on a busy day since there is a queue in front of them to get into the building.

That is it for “Chalk Full of Character” during Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts! The event this year has been very enjoyable, with a lot of elements that are the same or similar to previous years.

Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts runs through February 22, 2021! Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival starts soon after that, on March 3rd, 2021.
