Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs Officially Opens on January 16th, 2021

Gideon’s Bakehouse officially opens tomorrow, January 16th, 2021 at Disney Springs! The shop had soft opened and then was closed until yesterday as it gears up for the official day. There will be free commemorative limited edition 11×14 art prints of the gargoyle and gargoyle stickers – both while supplies last along with five Limited Edition Cookies available for purchase. I recommend following Gideon’s Bakehouse on Facebook, there is a lot of added information about the grand opening here.
The five Limited Edition Cookies are
• Frankenstein (usually available just in October)
• Santa’s White Christmas
• Coffee Cake Cookie (Beyond just the morning!)
• Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl
• Coffee Toffee Chocolate Chip
Cake slices available are Red Velvet, Key Lime Pie Cake, and The Peanut Butter Banana Double Frosted Chocolate Cake (I highly recommend the red velvet cake).
The 6 cookie per person limit is raised for the first (and maybe last) time to 10 per person – 2 of each. The Hot Cookie Hour with Homemade Ice Cream time is extended just that day from 7:00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m. There is more information on their Facebook page including practical advice.

I expect Gideon’s will be extremely busy tomorrow (it was busy yesterday and there was no grand opening). There is a virtual queue so if there is a multi-hour wait, you can shop and dine at Disney Springs while waiting. The cookies are great and they do freeze well!
