Sneak Peek of Snow White’s Enchanted Wish at Disneyland, Renamed and Rethemed from Snow White’s Scary Adventures

Hi everyone!

Disneyland has shared a first look at Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, the reimagination of Snow White’s Scary Adventures in Fantasyland. This is the 83rd anniversary of the premiere of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and Disney chose today to reveal the new name and a sneak peek. While Disneyland has been closed, Walt Disney Imagineering has been busy and the attraction will be ready when the theme parks do reopen. Here is the video, which includes longtime Imagineer Kim Irvine talking about the updates! It reminds of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in some places.

Michael Ramirez, Public Relations Director, Disneyland Resort says on the Disney Parks Blog, Imagineers have updated this classic Fantasyland attraction with new magic inside and out. Using state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, including new music, LED black lighting, laser projections and a new animation system, the attraction brings to life Snow White’s “happily ever after.”

You will delight in new appearances of beloved characters, including Snow White cheerfully dancing and twirling with the Seven Dwarfs in their cozy cottage. You may even notice the scent of Doc’s handiwork – a baking apple pie – wafting through the air, before heading “off to work we go!”

The classic Snow White themed attraction at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif., has undergone a magical reimagination during the park’s closure. Walt Disney Imagineering has been putting the finishing touches on this cherished opening day attraction, which will be ready to welcome guests when the theme parks reopen at a later date. State-of-the-art audio and visual technology will allow guests to discover new surprises as well as enhanced story elements like the dazzling mine scene featuring familiar characters, shimmering lighting effects and jewels all around.
