Epcot’s Mitsukoshi Department Store Selling Holiday Cards and Monthly Calendars in Japan Pavilion
Hi everyone!
Over the last 10 days or so, I’ve been photographing the Christmas cards and calendars in Epcot’s Japan pavilion at the Mitsukoshi Department Store – every time I go, the inventory changes a little. There are cards with the Mini Santas, as well as Sanrio and then a variety of calendars and datebooks. These will all sell out at some point but I thought it would be fun to share them.
Mitsukoshi is one of my favorite stores to browse through, the merchandise changes regularly.
I purchased Christmas cards here last year and picked up a couple of cards this year as well.
The cards are all singular and most run in the $5 – $6 range.
Many of my friends love Japan so it’s a nice option if you are at Epcot while they last.
Mount Fuji is on many cards.
There is a company that creates cards called Mini Santa and some of the cards are those.
Here is another look at some of the cards. This photo is from a number of days ago, I have been working on the article and more merchandise keeps arriving.
There are calendars and datebooks mixed in with the cards. More datebooks and calendars have also arrived this week.
Here is another of the Mini Santa cards.
These cards pop up and are more expensive.
There is an adorable puppy calendar that features Mt. Fuji behind three puppies in this cover photo.
There are some really cute shots of puppies in Japan.
There are a few mini-calendars.
And a variety of datebooks, including Hello Kitty and Little Twin Stars here.
I know nothing about some of the characters here, but Little Twin Stars is from Sanrio.
There is a tiny Toy Poodle mini-calendar.
On my last visit a couple of days ago, there was a new selection of Christmas cards that include Hello Kitty.
The card on the right is a different Hello Kitty theme.
There are musical Sanrio cards including Hello Kitty that were more recently added.
There is a Kerokerokeroppi calendar.
Pochacco calendar.
Hello Kitty.
Pompompurin.
More datebooks.
The huge Mitsukoshi store always has so much fun merchandise to look at, but I think never better than during the holiday season.
