Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Selling Gingerbread and Holiday Treats for 2020 Season

Hi everyone!

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort now has holiday treats for sale, including a gingerbread house and mini-stollen bread! While photographing the new walkway from Disney’s Grand Floridian to the Magic Kingdom (that is my next article), I stopped for lunch at Gasparilla Island Grill. While mobile ordering, I noticed the holiday items. I was told they were added a couple of days ago. Updated – November 24th, I added a few more purchased items and added them to the end of the article.

This is the Signature Gingerbread House for $45.00.

I love mobile ordering – we don’t dine inside, and many counter service locations and a small amount of table service locations offer it. I hope more will soon, it is very convenient.

For sale are the Miniature Signature Stollen for $9.99, Traditional Peppermint Bark for $9.99, and Gingerbread Mickey Ears for $5.19 along with some other items. While the resort gingerbread holiday displays are not up this year, it is nice that various resorts have some of their popular items.

Gingerbread and holiday treats can be purchased at Gasparilla Island Grill.

A Cast Member brought me a tray to look at. It includes many of the treats available. At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, there is a display outside the Contempo Cafe. What is not available for sale this year is the gingerbread shingle, which is tremendously popular.

There is a Happy Holidays Grand Cake Pop.

Here are a couple of gingerbread items.

Several resorts have peppermint bark, which is one of my favorite items for the holidays.

Stollen is always a must for me to purchase each holiday season. This is a small loaf of it for $9.99. If you are looking for a larger version, the Beach Club Marketplace has one.

It is actually a nice size if you are looking for a more personal sized stollen bread – and delicious. It is a heavy treat and will probably last us a few days.

I went back on Monday to pick a few items up (for myself and gifts). Stollen is a family holiday favorite, so I purchased one more mini-stollen. And then the Traditional Peppermint Bark and Red Velvet Wreath Cupcake.

The Red Velvet Wreath Cupcake is filled with a cream cheese mousse – it is so good! I like frosting more than the cake in a cupcake, and a lot of the newer Disney cupcakes offer something inside.

This reminds me a bit of the Holiday Whoopie Pie at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the red velvet and cream cheese.

And here is a look at the bark. This was one of the gift items so I didn’t try it, but I chose to buy it here (instead of other resorts) because of the nice presentation.

It is great to see the resorts adding some longtime favorite holiday items and new treats as well.
