The Grinch and Max Greet Guests at “Feast with The Grinch” Character Breakfast During Christmas at Gaylord Palms 2020

Christmas at Gaylord Palms is now in full swing, with the signature “I Love Christmas Movies” attraction (ICE! is expected to return in 2021) and a slate of entertainment offerings. A very popular part of the holiday season already is the Feast with The Grinch Character Breakfast. We were invited to cover the holidays at Gaylord Palms again this year and usually would cover the breakfast – but due to it being sold out with fewer guests (due to social distancing measures) we didn’t. We do have some fun Grinch and Max photos though! They do not walk around to tables, but guests can have photos with them in a distant way. Here are our photos and video of The Grinch and Max!
The Gaylord Palms atrium is expansive.
Feast with The Grinch is located at Villa de Flora, which has been remodeled in a major way. It is much more open.
The Grinch can be seen here near the sign for Feast with The Grinch.
On the Gaylord Palms website, it says, Enjoy a delicious meal and meet the star of the holiday season… THE GRINCH himself! This one-of-a-kind interactive breakfast experience includes a buffet of Who-ville inspired items, visits with The Grinch and Max and special touches Dr. Seuss fans are sure to adore.

The Grinch meets in Key West, not at the restaurant.
He has a themed backdrop.
He wears his Santa costume, which is really fun.
Max meets at the restaurant in front of a small tree. Again, in a distant way as all character meals are now in the Orlando area.
We have never seen Max before in character form.
Max holds out his ears.
Tickets are starting to sell out already – the breakfast does not run every day and The Grinch and Max are popular.
Know Before You Go:
- Tickets must be purchased in advance, online. No Box Office on-site.
- Tickets are non-refundable, dates and times cannot be changed. Optional ticket insurance is available for purchase.
- Children 3 and under are free with a paying adult.
