Disneyland Paris Closing Through February 12th, 2021 (Except for Possible Two-Week Christmas Opening)

Hi everyone –

Disneyland Paris will be temporary closing at the end of the day on Thursday, October 29th, 2020, with an end date of February 12th, 2021 except for the possible exception of December 19th, 2020 – January 3rd, 2021 for the holidays depending on the COVID-19 France government rules at that time. The park had reopened July 15th with new health and safety measures in place but France is having new lockdowns (as is much of Europe).

Disneyland Paris says, In anticipation of celebrating the Christmas holiday season we will be taking reservations from December 19 – January 3 and hope to be open based on prevailing conditions and government guidance at that time.

Disneyland Paris will be closed from January 4 through February 12.

Disneyland Paris has a page set up for more information on the closure. Information on it includes:

Non-dated tickets already purchased:

If you hold a non-dated ticket, it will remain valid with the same conditions and calendar depending on the ticket type, when the park reopens.

Disneyland Paris Express tickets already purchased for dates falling within the closure:

Tickets for the Disneyland Paris Express shuttle service from / to Paris purchased from Disneyland Paris will be automatically cancelled and refunded in full. If you purchased tickets through a distributor or reseller, please contact your distributor or reseller directly.

Annual Passes:

Your Annual Pass will be extended for the number of days that our parks will remain closed.

The Disneyland Paris information page also includes what to do if you need/want to rebook your trip.

I’ve seen questions asked on why Disneyland Paris would close again after the holidays. That is generally an extremely slow time in the parks already due in large part to weather.

Here is hoping for a better and healthier 2021.
